『英語で3コマ漫画』は『時制パターンを変化させる』て話すとより効果的に学習することができます。
上記に示した３ステップのように、過去形で話すことからスタートし、Step2、Step3と時制を変化させながらストーリーテリングを行うことで様々な場面で応用できる英会話力を身につけることができます。
それでは上記の3コマ漫画の内容を、実際にStep１から英語で話してみましょう。1分間ほど画像を見ながら英文を考え、次の1分間で考えた英文を実際に口に出して話してみるという流れでチャレンジしてみてください。
下記の各Step解説では、解答例と重要words&Phrasesの解説を乗せていますので参考にしながらトレーニングを進めることができますよ。

Step1. 過去形で答えてみよう
まずは上記の英語で3コマ漫画『ホテルで鍵を部屋に置き忘れ…!?』を過去形で話してみましょう。まずは、1分ほど画像を見ながら英文を考えて、その後1分ほどかけてその英文を実際に話してみましょう。Here we go!
①英語で確認しましょう。(以下解答例)A woman stayed at a hotel and woke up feeling hungry in the morning. After having breakfast, she returned to her room and realized she had locked the door with the key inside. She spoke to the hotel front desk and asked them to unlock the door for her.
②日本語で確認しましょう。女性がホテルに宿泊し、朝目覚めるとお腹が空いていた。朝食を食べ部屋に戻った女性は、鍵を部屋に入れたままドアをロックしたことに気付いた。女性はホテルのフロントに掛け合って鍵を開けてもらった。
③Words&Phrasesを例文で確認しましょう。stay at a hotel: 『ホテルに宿泊する』という意味で旅行や出張の際に使う表現です。
<例文> We decided to stay at a hotel near the beach for our vacation. (私たちは、バケーションでビーチ近くのホテルに泊まることに決めた。)
return to: 「〜に戻る」という意味で元の場所に戻ることを示しています。
<例文> After the movie, we returned to our car. (映画のあと、私たちは車に戻った。）
realize: 「気付く」という意味で何かに気づいたときに使います。
<例文> He realized he had left his phone at home.(彼は家に携帯電話を置いてきたことに気づいた。)
lock the door: 「ドアをロックする」安全のためにドアを鍵で閉めることを意味します。
<例文> Don't forget to lock the door when you leave. (外へ出る時はドアの施錠を忘れないようにしましょう。)
with the key inside: 「鍵を中に入れたまま」という意味で、鍵を取り出さずにドアを閉めてしまう状況を表します。
<例文> I accidentally locked the car with the keys inside. (測らずしも、車の鍵をINしたままロックしてしまった。)
speak to: 「〜に話しかける」という意味で、誰かに話す、掛け合うことを示しています。
<例文> She spoke to the manager about her concerns. (彼女は悩み事についてマネージャーと話した。)
asked them to 「人に〜するように頼む」という意味で、toの後に動詞を伴って、人に何かしらの行動を促す時に使います。
<例文>I asked him to change their reservation date. (私は彼らも予約日を変更してほしいと頼んだ。)
unlock the door: 「ドアを開ける」という意味。鍵を使ってドアのロックを解除することです。
<例文> He came and unlocked the door for us.(彼が来て、私たちのためにドアを開けてくれた。)
④穴あき英文で練習しましょう。A woman (A. ) at a hotel and (B. ) feeling hungry in the morning. After (C. ), she returned to her room and realized she had locked the door (D. ). She (E. ) the hotel front desk and (F. ) unlock the door for her.

Step2. 2コマ目を現在形として答えてみよう

１コマ目、３コマ目はそれぞれ、過去形、未来形の表現に変換して、Step1の英文をどのように変更したらいいか考えてみてくださいね。
ポイントはStep1で使った英文を基に、各コマで動詞の時制を変化させるです。
1分ほど画像を見ながら英文を考えて、次の1分でその英文を実際に口に出して話してみましょう。

Step3. 1コマ目を現在形で答えてみよう

最後のStep3は1コマ目を現在形として、2コマ目3コマ目を未来に起こるであろう予測話として話してみましょう。
このように各コマの時制を変化させることによって、様々なバリエーションの時制変化をトレーニングすることができます。
